For me... I used to ride back in high school.. This video hit home with me because it took the truing of the wheels and the nasty food to a new level.

June 10th

So.. the recap class today was interesting. The rock was freakin awesome. I could have looked at that think for hours.

I felt like we had a very strong class today.. Lots of opinions and it wasn't the same 4 people talking.. Everyone was in on it.

Play?

First off... I thought the video was great. He had tons of valid points that I have never thought of. And he is right about drugs... I know tons of designs that only design good work when they are tripping on acid. And I realized that I have been canceling ideas out because they where different. I have done so off the wall photoshops that I wouldn't dare show anyone. Until lastnight when I emailed my dad the new custom bike idea. Now the funny part is.. I am thinking about building it.

What I did at play... I remember what drove my parents crazy.. Me running around the house making car noises.. Like changing gears up 20 times.. even though theirs only 6 forward gears.. I ran around the house/Played with my dog/played the original mario brothers... I forgot I still had the damn thing.

The idea of freeing ideas helped.. I worked on so more portfolio pieces of random website design templetes. In the long run.. I am happy being an adult.. I just need to find a creative release... Music used to be it. Now I don't have time for it, I even quit one of my jobs this summer.. I have ended up doing more freelance photography or design so my one less job isn't giving me more free time.

blind

Well... I decided to play Call of Duty 4...blind. All I did was throw grenades and stab people.



Surprisingly I did well.. 12 kills and 5 deaths.

For a sense I would like to add, It would be rubik's cube vision. I have had a Rubik's cube that I haven't solved in 5 years.. It is really starting to fucking piss me off..

Career networking

Well.. I didn't go.. I had to help one of my buddies drop a trany in his jeep.

I love the idea of networking.. But I like to network in the city I want to move to when I get out of school(Denver)..

I will be visiting Denver this winter and next summer to hopefully setup a job for me in Jan on 11.

Class June 1

Umm.. lets not talk about it.. Well it was an interesting class dealing with "time" and new media. It makes you think about what we are doing and why we are designing for now. Why arn't we designing for tomorrow. That is something that can not be taught, it has to be tried.
